Description

As the Team Leader (Full Stack), you report to the Manager of the Software Engineering department and support them in their mission. You manage a team responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of FullStack back-office and digital office application components to achieve the IT service objectives in supporting internal services and affiliates.

You provide guidance and the necessary leadership within your team to ensure the quality of the application components and the service provided. You manage the team personnel to have the necessary resources and the appropriate level of expertise when needed. You ensure that all team members perform administrative tasks properly. You oversee the integration of new hires into the team and their new roles. You define, track, update, and communicate the team's task schedule to the appropriate individuals.

You participate in defining and implementing standards and procedures for the implementation, maintenance, and operational support of applications, ensuring their proper implementation by your team. You keep yourself and your team informed about technological advancements to anticipate and/or solve potential issues.

Based on a needs description, you estimate the costs and implementation or execution deadlines. You take on the role of Project Leader for primarily application projects.

You maintain contacts with service providers, suppliers, and partners, representing the company to them.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in higher education (bachelor's or master's) in a relevant field for the position.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Team Leader or in multi-team project management.
• Broad and in-depth knowledge of backend and frontend technologies and their frameworks: Java, JavaScript, HTML, Spring (Boot), Angular.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Docker / Linux
  • Event-Driven Architecture / Kafka
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Hybrid mobile development / Ionic
  • MongoDB
  • Security (OAuth / IODC), spring security, OWASP
  • Scrum (master), DevOps, CI/CD
• Result and internal/external customer satisfaction oriented.
• Stay informed about the evolution of technologies used.
• Analytical and possess a good critical thinking.
• Flexible, stress-resistant, proactive, good team player.
• Autonomous, organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong sense of priorities.
• Good communication skills.
• You have a good knowledge of technical English and a good knowledge of Dutch (you can hold a conversation, write simple documents, and work based on documents in Dutch).
