Systems Administrator

Robert Half is currently engaging with a leading Real Estate organisation that is looking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer for an initial 3-month contract.

• Administer and optimise the Workspace ONE environment, ensuring effective device and application management.
• Provide recommendations for best-practice configuration and improved operational efficiency.
• Streamline device/app deployment processes and support life cycle management.
• Implement automation for onboarding, provisioning, compliance, and internal IT workflows.
• Audit existing PowerShell scripts and develop new scripts to support:
  • Okta
  • Workspace ONE
  • Active Directory
  • Onboarding/offboarding
  • Alerting and reporting
• Use GAM to automate Google Workspace administrative tasks.
• Manage and enhance identity and access workflows across Okta, AD, and CyberArk.
• Improve SSO configurations, access policies, identity life cycle, and privileged access workflows.
• Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups) and recommend automation and configuration improvements.
• Support Jira workflow updates and enhance Confluence structure, documentation processes, and permissions.
• Produce clear documentation including SOPs, architectural recommendations, scripts, and operational processes.
• Ensure alignment with IT governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Maintain a structured and accessible internal knowledgebase.

• 5+ years' experience in IT Engineering, Systems Administration, or advanced support roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Workspace ONE or similar MDM solutions.
• Strong PowerShell Scripting capability.
• Solid understanding of Okta and Active Directory administration.
• Experience administering Google Workspace and automating tasks with GAM.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence within Agile environments.
• Practical experience with CyberArk for privileged access management.
• Strong documentation discipline and commitment to systems hygiene.

• Initial 3 month contract
• Competitive day rate - Outside IR35
• Remote role with occasional travel to London
