Systems Accountant

We are seeking a Systems Accountant to support our Finance Team at Funding Circle. This key role involves maintaining a healthy control environment, ensuring the smooth operation of finance systems, and promoting automation through integrations with other financial tools.

The Role

NetSuite: Manage control environment, security, roles, permissions, user support, training, communication, and act as liaison between Finance and IT. Support change management and IT controls audits. Manage third-party integrations and maintain NetSuite customizations.

Finance & Data Support: Provide ad-hoc data analysis, support audit data requests, generate financial reports, and assist FP&A with budgeting and forecasting.

System Development: Develop Excel and VBA processes, utilize Python and R to enhance financial processes, including budget scenarios and revenue reporting.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience with ERP systems and SQL
• Strong Excel skills (VBA, Power Query)
• Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with NetSuite administration and customization is desirable
• Knowledge of APIs and Postman is desirable
• Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is a plus
