On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:

System Test - Test Engineer Risk management system

What the team is working on:

As part of the multi-year project, the team is building our clients new risk and market data platform. The team focuses on the development of new functionality in microservice cloud native architecture to serve the internal customers' needs.

Besides the development and configuration of data management functionalities (eg, data cleansing), the team is also working on establishing new interfaces to the risk calculation platform, which will be built in parallel.

Our client is looking for a dedicated test engineer to join their IT hub in Prague and helps with the functional and technical tests of the Risk management system. The job is hybrid work model.

Our client is using self-developed, open source and commercial software. Our clients stringent requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability,

latency, throughput, scalability and operability will thoroughly challenge your technical and testing skills and provide ample opportunities for continuous improvement.

Desired technical skills and experience:

• A minimum of two years commercial experience in software testing.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Linux and command line.
• Working proficiency and communication skills in English.
• Analytical skills and a feel for technical issues

Following skills would be a plus:

• Experience with a test automation of background applications.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Jira, X-Rays.
• Basic knowledge of financial markets (bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, options).
• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (GCP).
• Experience with Grafana

Technologies in use:

• Python, PyCharm
• OpenShift, ArgoCD
• gRPC, REST
• PostgreSQL, json

Additional information:

• Start date of assignment: ASAP
• Initial contract duration: end of year 12/2025 + option of extension
• Degree of employment: Full-time
• Location: Prague
• Remote: 50%
