System Integration Test Manager (ERP Functional SIT)

Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)
Location: Cheshire (Hybrid)

We're recruiting a System Integration Test Manager to lead functional System Integration Testing (SIT) for a newly implemented ERP solution in a regulated, operational environment. The focus is on making sure end-to-end business processes work as intended across multiple functions, with clear evidence of readiness ahead of go-live.

What you'll be doing

• Own the functional SIT approach: scope, objectives, entry/exit criteria, and success measures
• Create and manage functional test scripts based on business process flows and system configuration
• Lead SIT cycles across core areas such as procurement, production, inventory, quality, and finance
• Coordinate business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure defects are logged, prioritised, and resolved
• Provide clear test reporting (progress, defects, risks, readiness) and support stakeholder sign-off
• Run walkthroughs and support decision-making on what's "good to proceed" vs what needs fixing

• Strong experience leading ERP functional testing/SIT (end-to-end processes, cross-module impacts)
• Confident running structured test cycles and managing defect triage through to resolution
• Comfortable using tools such as Jira (or similar) for tracking and reporting
• Clear communicator who can work well with both operational stakeholders and technical teams
• Able to bring structure, pace, and calm to a delivery environment

• ISTQB (or equivalent)
• Experience in regulated or compliance-led environments (eg, traceability/quality standards)
