System Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Designing control and communication architectures for renewable energy plants, primarily photovoltaic, hybrid, or storage-only systems.
• Integrating systems for large-scale renewable generation plants, energy storage systems, and hybrid systems.
• Adapting and configuring company products to meet project-specific requirements.
• Providing support and supervision during the commissioning of complex grid-connected plants.
• Conducting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for final plant validation.
• Preparing validation reports based on the tests carried out.
• Leading the technical management of projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automation, etc.).
• Advanced English level. Demonstrated C1 level required (will be assessed during the interview).
• Knowledge of control and communication architectures. Understanding of control algorithms applied to the management of photovoltaic plants, storage systems, and microgrids.
• Previous experience in analyzing the behavior and grid code compliance of photovoltaic and storage plants, including reporting, proposing improvements, and implementing solutions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally on an international basis.
• Previous experience in project management, both from a technical and client-facing perspective.
• Familiarity with system integration at the control and communication level with utilities, SCADA systems, energy storage systems (BESS), capacitor banks, etc., is an asset.

Valuable Experience (Nice to Have):

• Experience with communication protocols; familiarity with Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3, IEC104.
• PLC programming experience.
• Experience with power electronics converters.

Preferred Experience:

• At least 2 years in similar roles
