Are you passionate about cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and server management? A major player in the insurance sector is looking for a seasoned Wintel System Engineer to spearhead the deployment of Microsoft Defender for Cloud for Servers P1/P2 as part of a TIBER remediation and antivirus lifecycle management initiative.

Mission Objectives

You'll join a dynamic team working at the heart of Brussels to support the deployment of Microsoft Defender for Cloud for Servers across hybrid and non-hybrid infrastructures, ensuring scalability and robust security coverage.

Responsibilities & Technical Environment

• Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud for Servers (not to be confused with Defender for Endpoint)
• Assign policies and manage enrollments (Windows Core and Workgroup servers included)
• Work with Azure Arc, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, and PowerShell
• Ensure smooth onboarding for hybrid-joined and non-hybrid servers
• Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to RedHat Linux systems
• Familiarity with McAfee/Trellix Endpoint Security
• Experience with SCCM deployments

• Able to work autonomously and under pressure
• Experience with change management and technical project delivery
• Comfortable working in an international, multilingual environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Dutch & French: Conversational (reading/speaking preferred)
