Sustainment Officer

Overview

Location: Hybrid/Plymouth - covering visits in the Southwest region (e.g., Bristol, Exeter, Mid Devon, South Gloucestershire, South Hams, South Somerset and Teignbridge).

Salary: £35,958 - £41,781 per annum

Hours: 36 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases with compassion and care to help prevent eviction and promote long-term stability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external support agencies to ensure residents receive the right help at the right time.
• Gather essential information and maintain clear, accurate records to deliver a high-quality, person-centred service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Genuine passion for helping vulnerable people
• Experience supporting individuals or families in complex situations
• Strong knowledge of social housing and tenancy sustainment
• Confidence working with external agencies to build positive partnerships

Additional Information

• Hybrid role with a base location at our office in Plymouth; travel to the Southwest region is required.
• Ability to travel and cover visits in the specified areas (e.g., Bristol, Exeter, Mid Devon, South Gloucestershire, South Hams, South Somerset, Teignbridge).
• Post is subject to Enhanced Adult and Child Criminal Record Check Clearance.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available. Residency in England or Wales for the duration of employment is required.
• Closing Date: Thursday 30 July 2026 at midnight. Interviews will take place on 19th, 20th and 21st August 2026.
