Sustainability Manager

Our client is a privately owned building services consultancy established in 1987. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 75 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for a Lead Sustainable Consultant to work on a diverse project portfolio, including masterplan regeneration projects, mixed use residential and commercial schemes, hotels and medical centres.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of six people working on sustainability initiatives.
2. Manage workflows and act as conduit between the sustainability team and the SMT.
3. Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.
4. Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals.
5. Work with other departments to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the projects.
6. Stay up to date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations.
8. Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to our clients.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations.
2. Experience managing a team of people.
3. Strong communication and leadership skills.
4. Knowledge of BREEAM, SBEM, SAP and CIBSE TM52, 54 and 59.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
