The RoleHere at Nature Positive, part of the RSK Group business, we are currently looking for a Sustainability Administrator to join the group sustainability team. You will be part of a dedicated internal team, which is responsible for supporting the delivery of RSK's 2030 sustainability strategy, Second Nature.
Within this role you will be expected to carry out your work with care and attention to detail and demonstrate effective communication with team members and key stakeholders across the RSK group.
Key Responsibilities RSK Group ESG reporting- Distribute quarterly ESG reporting requests to group businesses and respond to or divert queries to relevant team members.
- Review data provided by group businesses in their quarterly reports, query anomalies, missing or unsuitable evidence, identify good news stories and case studies for social value and sustainability reporting etc.
- Produce quarterly reporting update for RSK Group business leadership team to share progress and key achievements made during the quarter.
- Support coordination of annual EcoVadis certification and submission.
- Manage two sustainability team inboxes, responding to queries and directing to team members where necessary. Maintain a structured and well organised filing system.
- Liaise with internal communications team, helping to identify good news stories from across the group for RSK's monthly sustainability newsletter.
- Support the team in maintaining the sustainability intranet, keeping documents and resources up to date as a key reference point for colleagues across the group
- Support the management of RSK's Sustainability Champions Network. This will include maintaining champions network list, scheduling virtual network meetings and delivering campaigns (with support of internal communications team) to drive recruitment.
- Maintain a record of bid/tender requests received through the sustainability inbox to support future updates of our bid/tender FAQ document.
- Maintain the sustainability team master contact list, in collaboration with carbon and social value team members, ensuring the companies and contacts are regularly reviewed and updated to allow effective communications.
- Review and consolidate sustainability performance feedback from quarterly client survey to guide team and wider stakeholder discussions about improvement opportunities.
- Support the Sustainability Programme Manager, Head of Human Rights and Climate Change Manager with administrative project management tasks.
- Manage administration for the carbon and ESG KPI reporting platform (e.g., new users, location updates, company changes) and coordinate requests with ERP Support team.
- Manage administration for the social value platform Thrive, including adding new users and sharing standard guidance documents
- Assist the Climate Change Manager with data administration tasks related to quarterly carbon reporting
- Manage SharePoint filing and evidence folders for carbon reporting, ensuring records are organised for internal audit and external assurance
- Support the carbon reporting internal audit process by issuing requests and tracking responses
- Support the Sustainability Programme Manager with finance-related tasks such as raising purchase orders and issuing invoices
There will also be a wide range of other tasks to get involved with across the team.
Key Experience- A keen interest in sustainability and strong motivation to work in the sustainability sector.
- At least two years' experience in a team administrator role, ideally in the sustainability or environmental consultancy/solutions sector.
- Can effectively prioritise and deliver a diverse range of tasks.
- Efficiency and accuracy with data administration tasks.
You will be able to effectively prioritise and deliver a diverse range of tasks with a positive and proactive approach to work, and a desire to solve problems and seek process improvements. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to successfully engage with colleagues from a wide range of professional levels and technical disciplines. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly data handling using Excel would be key to being successful within this role.
