About The RoleEnable has an exciting opportunity for a Supported Internship Employment Officer to join our team, supporting disabled people into meaningful employment and work placements. This is a community-based role working across Herefordshire and surrounding areas, delivered in close partnership with local Further Education providers.
Key Responsibilities- Support students participating in the Supported Internship programme, helping them develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to transition successfully into the workplace.
- Create vocational profiles and offer tailored advice to young people with SEND.
- Sourcing placement opportunities and building strong employer partnerships.
- Provide in work and post employment support to ensure long term success.
- Maintain accurate records and manage a caseload effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Good standard of education and confidence using IT systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a caseload and prioritising tasks.
- Desirable: Level 3 Supported Employment qualification (full training and support provided).
