Job Description

At Dimensions, you'll find a workplace that genuinely cares for you. Your wellbeing, balance, and personal growth matter just as much as the support you provide. We'll give you the tools, training, and encouragement to thrive so you can bring your best self to work every day. Here, your compassion makes a real impact, and you're valued for exactly who you are.

About the role
  • Support Worker
  • Part time contracts available - 2x30 hours and a 1x 26 hours.
  • £12.85 per hour
  • Full UK manual driving licence essential
  • Shifts: long day (8am-9pm) + waking nights (9pm-8am) per week, plus shorter 1:1 shifts.
  • Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11

You will be supporting four gentlemen, aged between their late 40s and 60s, to live full and meaningful lives both at home and in their local community. Every person we support has their own goals, routines and support needs. Two of the gentlemen require full support with personal care, while the others benefit from encouragement, reassurance and gentle prompts to maintain their independence and make choices about their day-to-day lives.

One gentleman uses a wheelchair when out and about, so you'll provide safe and respectful support with mobility, including the use of hoists and other equipment where required.

This is a varied role, with a mix of long day shifts, waking nights, weekends and occasional shorter 1:1 shifts, giving you the opportunity to provide truly personalised support. While some shifts involve lone working, particularly during waking nights and dedicated 1:1 support, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive team that works together to achieve great outcomes.

The gentlemen enjoy a wide range of interests. Whether it's visiting favourite places, enjoying a meal out, gardening, birdwatching, watching planes, catching a film at the cinema, go-karting, taking walks or simply heading into town for an ice cream, you'll play a key role in helping them do the things they enjoy most. You'll also support with everyday tasks such as planning meals, shopping and cooking, empowering each person to develop skills, confidence and independence in a way that works for them.

About you

Experience isn't essential; what matters most are your values. If you're patient, kind, reliable, and passionate about supporting people, we'll provide all the training you need.

You'll feel comfortable providing personal care, working alone at times, and following detailed support plans. A full UK manual driving licence is required. Access to your own car with business insurance is benefical, though not essential.
