QR Select is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Support Pharmacist to join an pharmacy in Bantry. Available full time permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The pharmacy operates Monday to Saturday, and the role will involve working alternative Saturdays.
As a Support Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Monitoring stock levels and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to ensure availability of required medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
- Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the smooth running of the pharmacy.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong time management skills to handle a busy workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
- Managing stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all regulatory and operational standards.
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assisting with the overall performance and smooth operation of the pharmacy.
