Support Officer Oxford (Onsite) 12 Month Fixed Term Contract £25,526 - £29,556 per annum 35 Hours

Overview

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a Support Officer to join a leading housing association in Oxford on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable adults living in supported accommodation, helping them develop the skills and confidence to maintain their independence and sustain their tenancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting customers to sustain their tenancies and live independently
• Completing support plans, risk assessments and regular reviews
• Working with health professionals and external agencies
• Safeguarding vulnerable adults and responding to welfare concerns
• Maintaining accurate records and case notes
• Building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders

About You

• Experience in a customer facing or support based role
• Understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable adults
• Ability to work with people experiencing complex needs, including mental health, substance misuse or behavioural challenges
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Housing experience is beneficial but not essential

An Enhanced DBS will be required for this position.
