About the Role:

As Support Engineer, you are responsible for the helpdesk, where you provide excellent English-language service and support to customers. You also have the following tasks and activities:


  • Basic configuration of firewalls;
  • Testing software;
  • Installing software on computers;
  • Writing English-language manuals;
  • Providing support for all Port-IT products;
  • Feedback of support cases to the relevant account manager.


You perform these tasks independently in the office. The organization offers 24/7 service, so it is expected that you have a flexible attitude to work outside regular office hours (evenings & weekends). Of course, these hours are appropriately compensated. This role will be primarily located in Rhoon, with flexibility for some remote work.


Qualifications & Personal Skills:

  • Support Engineering skills
  • Experience within a Helpdesk function.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Secondary vocational degree (MBO) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
