Protocol Education is recruiting passionate Primary Supply Teachers for September starts across Gateshead. We work closely with local primary schools that rely on experienced, reliable teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover throughout the academic year.

Supply teaching offers the opportunity to focus on teaching while enjoying the freedom to choose the days you work.

About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Follow school lesson plans and routines.
  • Create a calm, engaging and positive learning environment.
  • Encourage pupil participation and achievement.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
  • Provide clear feedback at the end of each school day.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for teachers who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have recent UK classroom experience.
  • Are confident teaching across the primary age range.
  • Can quickly adapt to new schools and classrooms.
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Can commit to a minimum of three days each week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
