Tradewind is recruiting a Supply Teacher to work across Secondary Academy settings in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, covering KS3 and KS4 lessons. Teachers with experience in core subjects including English, Mathematics or Science are particularly encouraged to apply.

What you could be teaching

The Supply Teacher will be expected to follow the school's existing lesson plans and maintain the classroom expectations established by the academy.

Core subject specialists are particularly useful, with opportunities potentially available for teachers experienced in:

• English
• Mathematics
• Science

You may also be asked to supervise lessons outside your main subject where appropriate, with lesson resources provided by the school.

What you need

To work as a secondary supply teacher, you should have:

• QTS or recognised equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent secondary teaching experience
• KS3 and/or KS4 experience
• Strong classroom management
• The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and classes
• Good communication and organisation
• An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to complete the necessary checks
