Job Description
Primary Supply Teacher - Westerhope

Location:Westerhope, Newcastle
Salary: £140 - £160 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Flexible (Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities)
Start Date: Ongoing from September 2026

Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and rewarding teaching experiences? We're looking for enthusiastic Supply Teachers to work across a range of West Newcastle Primary Schools, supporting children in their learning and development while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher, you'll:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings, with year group preferences taken into account.

  • Adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

  • Support pupils' learning and progress in line with school policies.

  • Enjoy the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

About You

We're looking for teachers who are:

  • Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Experienced in teaching within primary education (EYFS-KS2).

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality education.

  • Confident in adapting to new classrooms and school settings.

  • Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
