Location: Tameside Position: Secondary Supply Teacher Start Date: Immediate Salary: £140-£190 per day DOE Cover People are currently seeking qualified Secondary Teachers to provide cover across schools in Tameside.

We have a range of day-to-day and short-term assignments available, offering teachers the opportunity to work flexibly while gaining experience across different school communities.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking to take greater control of your working schedule or an ECT wanting to build confidence across a range of classrooms, we can offer assignments based on your availability and teaching specialism.

Our schools require teachers who can step into a classroom confidently, maintain high expectations and ensure pupils continue to make progress during staff absence.

We are keen to hear from Secondary Teachers specialising in:

• Maths
• Science
• History
• Geography
• RE
• PE
• Design & Technology
• Computing & ICT
• Business Studies
• PSHE & Citizenship Depending on the assignment, you may be asked to:
• Take responsibility for classes across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver lessons using provided plans and school curriculum resources
• Maintain a calm, structured and productive classroom
• Apply school behaviour policies consistently
• Adapt to different teaching environments and pupil needs
• Encourage positive participation and maintain high expectations
• Work professionally alongside permanent members of staff
• Provide useful feedback following lessons where required
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within a secondary school
• Good subject knowledge
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to adapt quickly when working in unfamiliar settings
• Reliable and professional approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply. - £140-£190 per day DOE
