We are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join our Supply Planning Team. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for creating a robust supply plan and managing the production flow from our Far East supply base. You will work cross-functionally with the wider business to meet targets. With most manufacturing taking place in China, the company distributes through six main warehouses worldwide to retailers, distributors, and direct consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers regarding production and delivery timings, adjusting orders to support sales trends and forecasts
• Placing orders with factories for replenishments, FOB, and new product launches
• Ordering components and consumables
• Managing and communicating purchase forecasts to factories
• Reviewing stock levels and supply issues, recommending mitigating actions
• Planning container loading with suppliers for effective stock delivery
• Producing KPIs for suppliers and management
• Implementing and maintaining inventory and material management strategies, reviewing weekly purchase order tracking
• Acting as the single point of contact for factories, including daily communication, performance tracking, and relationship management
• Owning KPIs such as supplier performance, stock availability, and PO tracking
• Supporting the S&OP process by communicating overstocks and blocked stock issues, and addressing capacity constraints proactively
• Ensuring excellent product availability to meet demand forecasts

Requirements:

• Previous experience in operations, supply planning, procurement, or supply chain roles
• Organized, methodical, with strong attention to detail
• Numerate with good analytical skills
• Results-driven, with a focus on achieving targets
• Disciplined in following processes and work systems
• Proactive in escalating issues
• Advanced Excel skills
• Desirable: Experience with S&OP, Mandarin language skills, working with Far East suppliers, knowledge of injection moulding and metal forming processes, proficiency in IT packages, project management experience
