EMEA Supply Planner

  • Annual Salary: £45k - £50k per annum DOE
  • Location: Uxbridge, London
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid working

Join our dynamic Operations EMEA team as a Supply Planner, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal stock availability and inventory management across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This position is based in Uxbridge, London, and offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for a professional with a strong background in supply planning within the FMCG industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare, issue, and track short and long-term supply plans in accordance with company purchasing policies and procedures to ensure stock availability while meeting inventory turn targets.
  • Confirm purchase orders with co-packers, including delivery date, quantity, unit of measure, and Bill of Materials (BoM).
  • Proactively identify risks associated with slow-moving and obsolete finished goods, report and follow up by closely working with other functional teams.
  • Regularly check for potential stock-outs due to production delays or changes in demand, and take immediate action to adjust the supply plan and mitigate issues.
  • Support new product implementations through supply plans and ensure project launches are on time and in full (OTIF).
  • Manage regular phase-in and phase-out processes to ensure timely project launches while minimizing business waste.
  • Maintain purchase orders and master data within SAP to ensure system accuracy and support reliable operational plans.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional team members.
  • Regularly update planning parameters in SAP/APO to achieve optimum finished goods inventory levels within the network.
  • Monitor and evaluate co-packer performance to anticipate issues, plan contingencies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Issue regular supply plans to co-packers and conduct formal supply reviews with plants as per S&OP process and timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional international team environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills and understanding of MRP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
