Supply Planner

Location: Support Office, Handforth (Hybrid: 2 office days / 3 home)
Salary: Up to £35,000
Reports to: Merchandise Planner / Senior Supply Planner

Why You'll Love This Role

As a Supply Planner, you'll be at the heart of product availability - ensuring customers get what they need, when they need it. You'll manage the full stock lifecycle, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and support long term planning as well as day to day trading needs.

What you'll be doing Stock & Inventory Planning
  • Manage inventory to deliver the right availability while keeping stockholding efficient.
  • Monitor promotional activity and adjust plans to support campaign performance.
  • Own forecasting accuracy and continually refine plans based on demand changes, seasonality, and trading patterns.
  • Support NPD launches and work on clean promotional/seasonal exits.
  • Optimise key parameters such as MOQs, EOQs, lead times, and order frequency.
Supplier Collaboration
  • Build strong, cooperative relationships with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce lead times.
  • Monitor performance through KPIs such as OTIF and fill rates.
  • Support S&OP and supply reviews aligned to retail demand.
  • Contribute to supplier development such as packaging improvements or consolidated shipments.
Distribution & Logistics
  • Work closely with Distribution Centres to optimise inbound flow.
  • Ensure RTVs are managed effectively to maintain efficiency and space.
What you'll bring
  • Experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management (retail/FMCG ideal).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Confidence using forecasting or planning systems (Relex is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP/planning tools.
  • A proactive mindset, great attention to detail, and resilience when handling competing priorities.
