Supply Chain Operations Associate

Job Description

The GEO Supply Chain Operations Associate will serve as an integral member of the Global External Supply Chain Operations team. The role is responsible for supporting external Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO) activities related to clinical drug products, coordinating supply needs between CMOs and internal teams, and ensuring all product supply requirements are defined and met.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP aspects for production efforts at CMO and monitor inventory levels of drug substance, drug product, finished goods and components.
• PO and invoice management - generation and coordination of purchase orders.
• Shipment management - form completion, inbound & outbound shipment coordination for DS/DP/bulk packs & samples.
• Inventory reconciliation - manage monthly reconciliation processes for relevant CMOs and act as primary SME/point of contact for inventory audits.
• Coordinate reference standard supply with relevant CMOs.
• Coordinate annual stability samples with Novato and relevant CMOs.
• Maintain accuracy of Tier 2 Master Data (planning and GMP production recipes, quality parameters, dispensing and sourcing rules, planning attributes, formulas, and routings).

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Quality.
• BS/BA degree in life sciences, business, or supply chain management.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of processes/operations within the team.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams in resolving short-term issues and sustaining long-term performance.
• Experience with CAPA, FMEA, RCA tools in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• High initiative, questioning skills, and strong organizational skills.
• Experience in supply planning or inventory management.
• Experience in inventory reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of GXP regulations.

Desired Skills

• Clinical packaging operations / supply chain experience.
