Job Description
Job Title 
Specialist, Supply Chain Operations - 12 month fixed term contract reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead.
Role SummaryAct as the key link in the supply chain between customers, intercompany and third party supply sites, ensuring accurate order processing, invoicing, compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with Purchasing, Finance Departments and Fiscal Representatives to perform supply chain operations on behalf of the principal.
- Provide a seamless link in the supply chain among intercompany and third party supply sites and markets.
- Ensure customer and supply sites comply with business and tolling rules.
- Resolve discrepancies in the quantity and timing of market orders.
- Receive and enter market orders according to business rules.
- Process supplier invoices, follow up on price discrepancies and payment queries, and accurately process tolling fee invoices.
- Perform all activities in accordance with the Good Distribution Procedure.
- Issue invoices to markets.
- Issue required shipping documents, certify with the local Chamber of Commerce, and legalise with relevant embassies when required.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics for outbound shipments, updating freight trackers and registers as applicable.
- Approve or sign off on redeployment/rework on behalf of the principal and coordinate redeployments/reworks, ensuring costs are back charged to the appropriate party.
- Liaise with QC for testing, release, and generation of Certificates of Analysis for APIs and for QP inspection and release of drug products.
- Assist and support master data for customers, contracts, and BOMs; use reports to monitor data integrity.
- Receive and forward customer complaints per established procedures, and expedite resolution.
- Manage financial activities: compile reports, perform all SAP transactions in a compliant manner, meet month end and year end sales reporting deadlines, and provide supporting documentation for financial audits.
- Collaborate with the External Manufacturing organization to support implementation of new supply models.
- Experience working in a multinational company, preferably within an export department.
- At least three years in a multinational supply chain environment or related warehouse transactional experience.
- Supply chain or business qualification - diploma standard.
- Ability to deliver results on time under pressure, flexible with changing priorities.
- Efficient supply chain administration with accuracy and timeliness of order processing.
- Set demanding goals while maintaining high accuracy and productivity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent prioritisation, organisation, and multi task management to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills; workable knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Capability to build and maintain strong relationships within BMS and with external trade customers and suppliers.
- Understanding of BMS supply chain, products, and markets.
- Quick adaptability and capacity to learn rapidly.
- Compliance with regulatory, finance, EHS, and security procedures.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations standards, order processing, and invoicing activities.
