Supply Chain Management Intern - Fixed Wing, 12 Month Placement

Support and manage assigned parts and liaise with internal and external customers regarding demand priority and criticality
Use reporting to address New Buys, Excess Requests, Allocations, Target Stock Levels, Consumption Data, and Condemnation Rates
Support contractual KPIs and supplier activities while developing best practices
Identify and project-manage risks, issues, opportunities, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives
Review inputs into the demand forecasting tool
Support UK sourcing strategy
Negotiate pricing and terms
Manage stakeholders
Prepare and issue contracting documentation, including RFQs, RFIs, and Purchase Orders
Manage supplier and functional performance targets

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK; employer will not sponsor employment visas
• Currently studying towards a Business, Finance, supply chain management, or similar degree
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• IT proficiency, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills, including drawing conclusions and making recommendations

• Applicable educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience
• Current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom

• Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
• Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
