Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist (automotive)

We are seeking an experienced Program Logistics Engineer with a must-have background in the automotive industry to organize logistics and manage proto/pre-series production before transfer to serial plants. You will act as the key logistics contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution from launch through Mass Production Trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage Bill of Materials (BoM) and production footprint in proto/pre-series phases.
- Consolidate material and production demands from stakeholders.
- Issue Purchase Requisitions, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Define and manage storage needs at the Pilot Plant Integrated Control (PPIC).
- Develop and coordinate production plans with the Pilot Plant, aligned to program requirements and capacity.
- Participate in daily Pilot Plant meetings to anticipate and resolve logistical issues.
- Proactively manage delivery schedules, identify risks, and coordinate solutions with customers.
- Organize and oversee all transportation (pilot plant customer, suppliers, plants).
- Serve as the primary logistics contact point for customers.
- Participate in program review meetings alongside cross-functional team.
- Provide logistics support during transfer phases to serial plant, up to MPT.
- Adhere to HSE regulations, SOPs, quality procedures, use of PPE, and confidentiality protocols.
Required Technical Skills
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English; additional client-language skills a plus.
- Essential: minimum 2 years of logistics & planning experience in the automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
