In this role, you will help coordinate the flow of goods from our UK site, ensuring consistent supply to remote locations where planning and precision are critical.Working at the heart of our logistics function, you will connect customer demand with production and delivery. You may also support export activities when required, contributing to a wider team effort across international markets. Drive reliable deliveries and support day-to-day logistics operations As Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to coordinate deliveries to Shetland and Orkney, ensuring stock availability and timely transport planning. You will work closely with customers, vessels, hauliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations. You will monitor forecasts, respond to changing requirements, and communicate clearly to ensure high service levels. From time to time, you may also support export shipments, helping the wider team manage international logistics when needed. Coordinate deliveries to Shetland and Orkney, ensuring consistent and reliable supply to key customers Ensure stock availability between factory and external warehouses to meet customer demand Work closely with customers on forecasts, orders, and stockholding requirements Plan and organise transport, including vessels and road deliveries Support export logistics activities when required Use your experience to manage complex logistics with confidence You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You understand the importance of reliable delivery, particularly when supporting remote locations, and you take ownership of ensuring things run smoothly. You work well with others, communicate clearly, and take a practical approach to problem-solving. You are motivated by delivering strong customer service and continuously improving how things are done. Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within logistics or supply chain Experience working with demand planning or customer forecasting Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with external partners Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred) Build your career in a collaborative and flexible working environment You will join a team that works closely together to deliver for customers, where your contribution will have a direct impact on day-to-day operations.
