Overview

Join a leading global sportswear and apparel organisation as a Supply & Inventory Planner, supporting a high-profile football business unit covering both club and national team products. Working within a dynamic global planning team, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability for future seasons, supporting major launches and international sporting events, while balancing commercial demand with factory supply capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of supply chain, inventory planning and assortment planning, requiring strong analytical skills, operational excellence and close collaboration with global stakeholders across Europe, North America and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply and inventory plans to support seasonal product launches and key sporting events.
• Coordinate supply planning activities between commercial teams, global planning teams and manufacturing partners.
• Monitor inventory performance, demand forecasts and product availability to support business objectives.
• Analyse supply chain data and provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
• Support purchasing and allocation strategies based on demand, inventory positions and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including planning, merchandising, sourcing and operations teams.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving planning processes, operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.
• Prepare and present planning insights, risks and recommendations to international stakeholder groups.
• Support vendor transition activities and help manage supply continuity across manufacturing locations.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Assortment Planning, Demand Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
• Experience working within consumer goods, retail, apparel, sportswear or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
• Understanding of inventory management, forecasting and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau.
• Interest in leveraging AI and data-driven technologies to improve planning outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage international stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player with strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment with a focus on execution and continuous improvement.
