Supervising Social Worker

About the role

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join a Kinship Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team is responsible for supporting, guiding, and overseeing foster carers to ensure that children receive safe, stable, and high-quality care.

They provide regular supervision and coaching to carers, helping them develop their skills and address challenges effectively.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards, completing assessments and reports, and working collaboratively with multi agency professionals to promote each child's well being.

Ultimately, the team serves as both an advocate and a vital link between carers, the agency, and wider support networks.

About you

A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with post qualifying experience in Children's Social Work.

A successful candidate will have extensive experience in a fostering setting.

A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
