Job Description
Supervising Pharmacist - Edenderry 
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervising Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Edenderry Co. Offaly
The hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday
The role is for a 4 day week including every 2nd Saturday
This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the local community to foster customer loyalty.
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately while adhering to all regulatory and professional standards.
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure the availability of required medications.
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating with the pharmacy owners to ensure the store operates efficiently and meets performance goals.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and providing leadership to the team.
You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team focused on delivering exceptional patient care to the local community.
Qualifications- A BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Dispensing medications and providing expert advice to patients.
- Managing inventory and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked.
- Supervising and supporting the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
- Building rapport with customers and addressing their healthcare needs.
