About Your New Employer
  • A leading and progressive Pharmacy who are an Irish owned Community Pharmacy Group with Branches throughout Ireland and are nearly 20 years old.
  • Due to expansion and success, they are looking to recruit a Supervising Pharmacist for one of their Branches in Carlow
  • Permanent Role with a competitive salary and Benefits. Can be 3 days or 5 days.
  • Store open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm so no late nights and no Sundays or Bank Holidays
About Your New Supervising Pharmacist Job
  • Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest professional and operational standards are maintained.
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers and patients, promoting safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Take responsibility for all professional, legal and ethical decisions within the pharmacy.
  • Support, mentor and develop colleagues through ongoing training, coaching and education.
  • Conduct regular reviews, audits and risk assessments to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver high-quality professional pharmacy services both personally and through the wider pharmacy team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative working environment focused on delivering excellent healthcare outcomes.
What Skills You Need for Pharmacy Supervisor Job
  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • A Degree in Pharmacy.
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and the delivery of national and local pharmacy services.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge with a commitment to professional and ethical practice.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the evolving healthcare sector.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and mandatory training.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using pharmacy management systems and digital technologies.
  • Must have EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa
  • Must be living close by to Carlow Branch
