Overview Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to support a peak workload period within Student Services. This role is focused on enhancing student engagement through welcome and settling-in programmes, with a strong emphasis on First Year Orientation activities.
This is a fast-paced, administrative role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
3 months temporary contract Key Responsibilities

3 months temporary contract Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support within Student Services
- Assist with the coordination and delivery of First Year Orientation events
- Support the planning and execution of student engagement initiatives
- Create and manage online resources for incoming students
- Maintain accurate records, data management, and reporting
- Design and coordinate marketing materials for student services and events
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, designers, and external vendors (e.g. printers)
- Assist with social media content and digital engagement activities
- Proven experience in a busy administrative role
- Experience supporting or coordinating events
- Background in a student-facing or customer-focused environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills with the ability to analyse data
- Strong problem-solving ability and flexibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience creating and managing social media content
- Competency in graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles is an advantage
