Working within our Design team, the Structural Engineer will play a key role in supporting structural design elements on projects.

What you'll do:

  • Adherence to the Integrated Management System
  • Undertake concept designs and planning projects at concept stage on a wide variety of buildings
  • Responsible for the production of Structural Engineering calculations for light gauge steel frames, associated hot rolled members, and composite floor slabs.
  • Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and budget
  • Interact with clients and other project members
  • Keep management informed of important and relevant design decisions to ensure objectives are met
  • Represent Remagin and attend meetings with clients and suppliers, alongside senior team members
  • Understand the detailed design process, including software use, process adherence, and production of manufacturing information
  • Undertake site visits as required

What you'll bring:

  • Experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably with steel design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with senior engineers and external design teams
  • Bachelor's degree (BEng / BSc) or Master's degree (MEng / MSc) meeting engineering academic requirements for Chartership
