Job Title: Streetworks and Inspections Administrator
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: HC4 £25,185 - £25,989 per annum
Contract: Permanent

The RoleWe're transforming how highways and public realm services are delivered across Herefordshire, bringing them back under direct Council control for the first time in years. From June this year (2026), we'll be working in a new way that gives us greater flexibility, more local accountability, and a sharper focus on quality and value for money.
What will you be doing?In this role you will provide technical support to the Streetworks team in managing the network across Herefordshire. Whilst the role will be supporting all areas of the team, the main focuses will be on processing Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and other applications, invoicing and resolving aged debt and administering routine and defect follow up inspections, essential to the effective delivery of this technical service.
About You- Hold GCSE Maths and English qualifications
- Have effective experience with Office 365 (incl. Teams, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Be able to organise a variety of different workstreams, through prioritising and taking a methodical approach to tasks
- Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Salary range of HC4 £25,185 - £25,989 per annum
- Enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
