Strategy Manager - 6 month FTC

Overview

An exciting eCommerce retailer in Kent is looking for a Fractional Senior Pricing Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract.

• Location: Hybrid, Kent (10 minutes from station)

• Office Policy: 3 days per week, ideally including Tuesday

• Start Date: Immediate

• Contract Length: 6 months (potential to go permanent)

• Salary: £60k pro rata

The Job

An exciting opportunity to shape pricing and commercial strategy for a high-growth online retail business. You'll work closely with senior leadership to deliver data-driven insights, improve pricing models, and support the shift towards a more analytical, insight-led operation.

• Analyse and clean large datasets (Power BI, Odoo)

• Build and refine pricing and effectiveness models

• Lead reviews and recommend pricing adjustments based on performance and market trends

• Collaborate across Product, E-commerce, and Commercial teams to align pricing and promotional strategy

• Provide actionable insights that improve profitability and operational efficiency

• Develop measurement frameworks for ROI and pricing effectiveness

• Partner with data and product teams to enhance pricing tools and analytics capability

• Present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders

You

• Proven experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or analytics within eCommerce or FMCG

• Skilled in Power BI, Excel, and managing unstructured data

• Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, and performance optimisation

• Commercially minded, strategic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led setup

• Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

• Confident operating at senior level in a collaborative, data-driven environment
