Strategy Analyst

This exciting new role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Elior's food strategy commercial objectives and unlocking greater profitability across the business. Through commercial analysis and a data-driven approach, they will help drive profitable sales growth and improve customer experience, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and plans, as well as regularly reporting on the performance of Elior's strategic goals. As the key commercial and analytical contact for the Culinary Development & Operations functions across the business, they will provide insight-led, data-driven guidance to support menu development, range optimisation , and data-led innovation, ensuring strong commercial benefit. They will support the menu development journey from concept through to implementation, balancing central governance with sector-specific needs and operational realities.
This role can be based from either ourLondon or Macclesfield office, operating on a hybrid working basis. Key Accountabilities:- Be accountable for the delivery of the commercial elements of the menu development framework, ensuring key deadlines are hit.
- Support with the delivery and continuous commercial improvement of Elior's menus across the business, ensuring commercial alignment, sector-specific suitability and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Analyse commercial initiatives and recommend data-driven recommendations and improvements.
- Present performance insights & strategy to senior teams and wider functions.
- Ensure effective communication and information sharing between key stakeholders to support driving profitable sales and data-driven decision making.
- Build strong relationships with the Culinary Development, Business development Operations, Finance and IT teams.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week - Hybrid

Experience and Knowledge: Essential- Strong planning and stakeholder management skills are essential to successfully coordinate this complex, multi-sector process.
- High proficiency in Excel/pivot tables with the ability to analyse, summarise and manipulate large volumes of data.
- High attention to detail with the ability to organise concepts and data into top-line information suitable for senior stakeholders.
- Experience of managing an information database and reporting processes.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a creative problem-solving mindset.
- Experience assimilating qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources and across functions.
- Experience implementing projects cross-functionally based on insight to improve customer experience.
- Experience using Excel VBA.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience of managing/analysing an IT system / platform.
- Degree level education.
- Experience of working in FMCG/ Hospitality/ Retail.
