Operations Strategy Analyst - Collections Focus

Central Southampton (Hybrid, with occasional London adventure)

Team: Operations Strategy & Analytics

Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

Ready to turn numbers into impact?

We're a fast-growing, award-winning consumer finance company on a mission to make borrowing better. Now, we're on the lookout for a sharp, curious, and data-savvy Operations Strategy Analyst to join our high-energy team and help shape the future of customer collections.

You'll sit right where strategy meets data meets action - crafting smarter, more human ways to help customers get back on track.

What you'll be doing:

This isn't just another back-office analyst role. You'll be a key player, driving change with your data superpowers. Expect to:

️ Build, refine, and own dashboards and reports that reveal the real story behind the numbers

Dive deep into performance analytics to design smarter, more effective collections strategies

Partner with servicing teams to make sure our strategies work for people, not just spreadsheets

️ Translate data into decisions, whether you're talking to data scientists or directors

Test, tweak, and fine-tune strategies to boost both customer outcomes and business results

About you:

You're a curious thinker, a data detective, and a natural communicator. You see patterns, not just numbers, and you love finding ways to make things better. Ideally, you'll bring:

A degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent commercial experience

Experience in collections analytics or strategy, ideally in financial services

SQL or Python skills (you know your way around a dataset!)

An analytical brain paired with a solutions-first mindset

️ Excellent communication skills, you can explain complex stuff clearly

Bonus points if you've got:

Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight experience

Knowledge of personal loans, utilities, or consumer finance

Why you'll love working here:

It's not just crunching numbers, it's about changing lives. Join a company where your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your work makes a real impact. Perks include:

Competitive salary + bonus for great performance

️ 25+ days holiday (plus bank holidays, and it grows over time!)

Private medical, dental, life cover & income protection

Cycle to work scheme & solid pension plan

️ Access to mental health support, virtual GPs & counselling

Fun socials, flexible hybrid working, and a relaxed dress code

Sound like your kind of challenge?

Apply now and bring your analytical brain and strategic spark to a place that's redefining what finance can do for people.
