Job Title:StR Lower in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Registrar (StR) Lower in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS client's dynamic team based in Birmingham, West Midlands. This position is available for an immediate start, offering competitive rates.
Main Responsibilities:
Admission clerking, bloods, ECG, physical examination, writing CPA reports, discharge summaries, regular mental state examination, liaise with external agencies, external hospitals, attending ward rounds and CPA meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A medical degree and professional qualification in psychiatry.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience.
- Extensive experience of applying psychiatric frames of reference and approaches.
- Highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician (AC) Status are essential.
- Experience working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Community settings.
