Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and other sources, verifying goods against documentation and accurately booking them into the system.
- Determine and carry out required inspection processes, decant goods where necessary, generate and apply labels, and progress items to the next stage.
- Scan and upload documentation to maintain accurate digital records.
- Store received goods in correct locations and update system records accordingly.
- Pick and issue materials for shop orders, sales orders, customer orders, shortages, and material requisitions in line with the production schedule.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and submit any required stock adjustments for finance approval.
- Liaise with the Stores Lead and Supervisor to request or transfer stock to and from offsite storage.
- Safely load and unload vehicles to support inbound and outbound logistics where qualified.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Pick, collate, and pack items for dispatch, ensuring all procedures, contract requirements, and quality standards are met.
- Respond to queries from various departments regarding stores and wider operational activities.
- Operate across Goods In, Dispatch, and Stores functions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Support cross site operations and provide cover at other locations when required.
- Adhere to and support the Tideturn transformation programme.
- Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
- Experience working within a warehouse or stores environment.
- Proven experience in stock counting and inventory control.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret and work with data.
- Physically fit, able to handle manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and working at height (e.g., steps/ladders).
- Forklift licence (desirable).
- Experience using ERP/MRP/PMRP stock control systems and associated reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proactive and solutions focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Optional 9 day fortnight TOIL.
- Flexible working hours, 1pm finish on a Friday.

This role requires a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimum. Certain roles may require further national security vetting checks. Some vacancies may require full security clearance with additional evidence.
