Our client is a household name in the Non-Food Retail sector, with high-profile stores nationwide and an exciting growth strategy for 2027 and beyond. Following a successful 2026 for the business, they are seeking an experienced Store Manager with a background in high-volume, big-box retail to lead one of their stores in North Dublin. Our client is ideally seeking a Store Manager to be flexible to work across a variety of their North Dublin based stores. This is a senior, strategic leadership role within a high-volume corporate retail environment, overseeing a trading floor of over 15,000 sq. ft and weekly sales in excess of €200,000. You will hold full P&L accountability for store performance, leading a management team of 4-8 and a wider team of 50+ colleagues. Key priorities include driving sales growth and profitability, optimising operational efficiency, and ensuring the store consistently delivers best-in-class standards while embodying the organisation's core values.
You will be joining an award-winning, highly regarded market leader in retail, one whose commitment extends well beyond commercial results. Responsibilities of Store Manager

• Take full ownership of store performance, including sales, margin, costs and KPIs.
• Lead, coach and develop the store management team and wider staff.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and health and safety standards are followed throughout the store.
• Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy and shrinkage, investigating and resolving any issues.
• Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, product displays and local market knowledge.
• Manage staff rosters, payroll budgets and recruitment to meet the needs of the business.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Handle employee relations matters, including performance management, in line with company policy.
• Report on store performance to senior management and contribute to wider business plans.

Requirements for Store Manager

• 5+ years of retail management experience in big box retail. Ideally experience already as a Store Manager or senior Deputy Store Manager, leading teams upwards of 30 staff with a background of leading other managers in stores exceeding sales more than €6 million per year.
• Proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, stock control and sales performance.
• Confident using retail systems and reporting tools, must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen
• Excellent organisational, planning and decision-making skills, ability to work a high level in a pressured customer facing environment
• Flexible to work management shifts, including openings and closes (typically between 9am and 9pm).
