Store Manager New Milton Express PT role

About the role

Tesco: PT role - 30 hrs

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but are planned in advance

Should you be successful in your application, your offer will be subject to and conditional upon you providing your bank account details before your start date.

You will be responsible for

  1. Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they develop operational and leadership skills to deliver exceptional service.
  2. Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about store products, building the brand, and providing customers with the right range, quality, and service.
  3. Leading your team in driving trade activity, growing sales, and maximizing profit using your expertise and knowledge.
  4. Building your managers' knowledge to deliver and sustain the Store Change Plan, resource planned activities, and resolve root cause issues with sustainable solutions.
  5. Ensuring the safety of colleagues and that the store operates legally by coaching the team to use all available security tools.

You will need

  • Excellent communication skills, sharing knowledge and working collaboratively to deliver results.
  • A welcoming attitude, putting customers at the heart of your work, listening, and building strong relationships.
  • Energy and resilience to maintain momentum in challenging environments, making quick decisions for the benefit of customers and colleagues.
  • Drive to exceed expectations, acting with integrity and inspiring confidence.
  • Awareness of competitors' activities and a proactive approach to developing new initiatives to improve the store.
