As a Store Manager - Express in one of our Asda Express stores, you will work with a small team of colleagues to drive sales, set standards and deliver KRAs. You will be the key motivator, maintain morale, create an operation that keeps customers coming back and support Asda's pricing strategy while keeping costs low. The role includes a rolling rota that will encompass weekends, evenings and sometimes late nights.

You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and be adaptable to change. You will be naturally friendly, want to get stuck in, and work with your team to deliver great results as well as spot talent and support their development. You will have good leadership and people skills and be a strong coach, role model and mentor who inspires the team to be the best they can be.

At times you will need to deal with management issues such as disciplinary and grievances in a professional manner. In addition you will manage rota planning and holidays.
