Position DescriptionThe primary purpose of the Depots Team is to provide efficient and reliable support to delivery teams, while maintaining a high standard of security, adhering to established work practices, and ensuring strict operational controls are applied to both indoor and outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities- The custody and security of stocks and stores premises
- The physical movement of stocks in and out of stores
- The implementation of a wide range of stores procedures and regulations
- The control of bulk issue materials
- The operation and use of computer systems, forklifts and stores handling equipment
- Ensure materials are kept accurate on the stock account
- Support stock control of 3rd party material depots
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent work experience is essential.
- A working knowledge in the use of Information Technology
- An appreciation of stores operations
- An ability to work with all staff groups to provide an effective storekeeping service
- Full Drivers Licence
This position will be based in ESB Networks Depot in Ballina, Co. Mayo.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business
Reporting toThe successful candidate will report into the Materials Services Supervisor.
