Stonehenge Security Supervisor - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a professional SIA Security Officer to join our Stonehenge security team. Job Type: Full time, Fixed term contract (1 year). Salary: £14.58 per hour. This role is initially offered as maternity cover until June 2027, with potential for permanent status thereafter.

• Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure work is carried out effectively, safely and in line with company policies.
• Lead, motivate and support team members to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Ensure all staff clearly understand their roles, responsibilities and required procedures, including emergency and escalation protocols.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members to ensure they are fully competent in their duties.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback where required.
• Carry out routine checks to confirm work quality, compliance, and operational standards.
• Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring procedures are followed and risks are reported and managed.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs relating to operations, staff activity, and supervisory checks.
• Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and clients to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal standards applicable to the role.
• Take responsibility for appropriate use and care of company equipment, vehicles, or resources under the supervisor's control.
• Respond effectively to operational issues or incidents, taking suitable action and escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns to meet operational demands, including covering absences when required.
• Act as a role model for company values, professional conduct, and customer service standards.

• Security officers must be fit, healthy and enjoy the outdoors; the role involves significant walking in all weather conditions. Cold and wet weather clothing system provided.
• Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a vehicle, due to the remote location.
