Location: Basingstoke, RG21
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £16.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 42-50 hours per week
Contract: Long-term ongoing work

We are currently recruiting for a Steel Workshop Labourer to work in a busy steel fabrication workshop based in Basingstoke. This is a long-term ongoing opportunity with consistent hours available each week.

This role would suit someone who is physically fit, reliable, and happy working in an industrial workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled fabricators and welders within the workshop
• Moving steel materials and components around the workshop
• Preparing materials for fabrication
• General labouring duties and workshop housekeeping
• Using basic hand tools where required
• Supporting production teams to ensure work areas remain organised and efficient

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a steel workshop, fabrication workshop, or similar industrial environment preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Safety conscious when working around machinery and steel materials
