Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Steel Erectors Labourer to support a steel installation project in Fargate, Sheffield. The successful candidate will assist steel erectors on site, ensuring materials are handled efficiently and work areas remain safe and organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting steel erectors with installation works
• Manual handling and movement of steel components and materials
• Preparing and maintaining work areas
• Keeping the site clean, safe, and tidy
• Supporting lifting operations (under supervision)
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Carrying out tasks as directed by site supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience as a labourer on construction or steelwork sites (preferred)
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Awareness of health and safety regulations
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
