The Role We are currently seeking a staff software engineer to join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team. Our team is building AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments. You'll join a talented full-stack team of engineers and work on distributed services that are used across the entire ADM engineering stack.

What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-month initiatives within ADM, including work that spans team boundaries. Anticipate risks and unblock dependencies before they become delivery blockers.
- Lead technical designs for new products and workflow solutions, aligned with ADM and Addepar's longer-term strategy. Solicit feedback and build consensus.
- Write exemplary, highly performant, and scalable code and frameworks.
- Evangelize and promote best engineering practices.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact. Initiate and lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Mentor engineers, identify skill gaps and help shape their technical development.
- Communicate technical strategy, trade-offs, and architectural direction clearly to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery

- Experience with financial services or wealth management operations
