Job Title & Grade - Staff Nurse Intellectual Disability Services

Tenure - Full Time & Part Time Permanent, and Full-Time Specified Purpose contract available

Panel - A panel may be created from which permanent and specified purpose contract vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.

Hours of Work - 37.5 Hours (Full Time)/Various Hours (Part Time) - the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service

Location of Post - Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin

Working Model - Fully Onsite

Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)

Proposed Interview Date - Week of 19th October - At least 1 weeks' notice will be provided. Shortlisted candidates are expected to make themselves available.

Take Up Appointment - Successful applicant(s) must be available to take up the role within a reasonable timeframe

PURPOSE OF THE POST

To provide holistic support to residents living in Peamount Healthcare Intellectual Disability Services

Point on Salary Scale

New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale ( exceptions may apply for the below grades, provided proof of recognised service is submitted by VOS)

• Clinical and Therapy Grades and Staff Nurses : Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service, local authorities, public service, health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
