Main duties of the job

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
• Work with leading professionals to make assessments for patients prior to surgery
• Demonstrate broad knowledge and assessment skills to ensure patient care
• Support the needs of each patient and their family
• Offer comfort and reassurance, maintaining high standards of care
• Build experience with new practices, equipment, and facilities
• Collaborate with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity of care

Person Specification Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC)
• Relevant qualifications and post-registration experience
