Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment, Shrewsbury (Bank)

Salary: Up to £20 per hour, depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver matron led care within a consultant led service.
• Act as the first point of contact for patients, carrying out pre assessment to determine suitability for surgery.
• Apply a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure safe patient care.
• Support patients and their families, providing comfort, reassurance, and the highest standards of care.
• Expand experience with new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with practitioners in other areas, supporting continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC).
• Relevant qualifications and experience aligned with registration.
• Post registration experience and a team oriented approach with a passion for exceptional patient care.
